Key Stage 3

In key stage 3, students are introduced to a range of graphical skills which develop their creativity and show them opportunities for the use of these skills across the curriculum. They will be taught how to use Photoshop, Stop Motion pro 8 and Movie Maker.

Key Stage 4
Year 10

Year 10 starts with an introduction to the Manchester music scene of the late 80s and early 90s. We visit the city to photograph key locations and to find out more about the culture of the musical movement. They will hone their research skills and produce their own graphical work to commemorate the days of Madchester.

Year 11

Year 11 complete the stop motion animation task that they began in year 10. This has a Japanese inspiration and theme. After Christmas, the students begin to prepare for their externally set examination task.
